The Duver 23 is designed by Arthur Mursell of TT Boat Designs and the very same designers of the famous Nelson range. Groves & Gutteridge (Isle of Wight) completed the final fitting out in 1994. Previously operated as an inshore patrol vessel for Southern IFCA. ‘Sextant’ has been adapted for use for survey work associated with the University of Southampton Ocean Science. Her planing capability and speed potential will suit a variety of applications

FORWARD AREA: Bench seating to starboard, while to port ahead of the console is a stowage area with an integrated stainless steel sink / work surface as a small galley area. A Victron invertor and battery charger are installed and two 240v sockets are served by the on-board invertor. WHEELHOUSE: The control console unit is to port housing engine instrumentation and auxiliary domestic switches with a hydraulic steering system and Kobelt water jet controls (3 lever system). The helmsman has a pedestal mounted KAB suspension seat and is provided with good visibility via all-round aluminium framed windows. A navigators KAB suspension seat is positioned against the rear bulkhead (S). A central door leads to the cockpit area. COCKPIT – Good service access to the engine/jet unit via the central engine box. EXTERNAL – Jet guard, stainless steel rails and mast. Usual deck fittings.
